Born from a collaboration with the historic Monnaie de Paris , one of the oldest continuously operating mints in the world, La Pièce represents a new chapter in the story of the Beaubleu brand.

For more than twelve centuries, the Monnaie de Paris has mastered the art of metal minting – shaping coins and medals with exceptional precision. But until now, this craftsmanship has never been applied to watchmaking. La Pièce is a world premiere, created in the heart of Paris at the capital’s last major active mint.

Combining centuries of metalworking craftsmanship with Beaubleu’s unique design language , La Pièce pushes the boundaries of the traditional watch face. Using a coin-stamping technique, the material itself is shaped into relief. Surfaces are raised, deepened and catch the light in a way rarely seen in watchmaking. Every detail is created directly in the metal – not applied to it, but naturally emerges from it.

A true collaboration of "four hands", struck in the heart of Paris.

It represents a rare technical achievement: the polished inner surfaces and hour markers are machined directly from a single piece of metal. This is a true masterful feat and the first time in watchmaking that such a detail has been created on a single stamped dial.

Thanks to thoughtful contrasts and a wide range of surface finishes, each element of the dial stands out on its own, yet remains part of a harmonious whole. Mirror-polished, satin-brushed, finely powdered or iridescent surfaces. The volumes work with light, creating depth and complexity on a single surface.

A flying seconds hand, delicately crafted to match the dial, moves across the composition, catching light with each reflection.
