A New Era of Formex Design

The Formex Aria Manufacture Chronometer represents a new generation of Formex watches. The organically shaped case and integrated Grade 5 titanium bracelet draw inspiration from natural forms sculpted by water, wind, and time. Despite a 40mm diameter, the watch is only 6.9mm thick and weighs just 78 grams including the bracelet, making it one of the lightest and most comfortable models in its category.

Craftsmanship and details

Every detail of the Aria model is designed with an emphasis on both functionality and aesthetics. Hand-brushed titanium surfaces complement polished facets, while the multi-level dial creates a sense of depth despite the watch's extremely thin profile. The FX01 movement is visible through the transparent case back and features black gold-plated bridges, hand-bevelled edges, and a tungsten micro-rotor with an engraved Formex logo.

Manufacture calibre FX01

At the heart of the model is the new in-house caliber FX01, developed in collaboration with Horage. The ultra-thin micro-rotor construction, just 2.9mm thick, uses a tungsten rotor for more efficient winding and a power reserve of over 72 hours. Each movement is individually COSC-certified and utilizes modern silicon components for maximum accuracy, reliability, and magnetism resistance.
