Essence Leggera
They are ultra-light and uncompromisingly progressive Swiss watches with high precision. The case, with its fine structure and smooth, slightly silky surface, weighs only 40g (1.4 oz) and is made from a carbon composite that was entirely developed in-house.
The bezel and crown are made of durable, scratch-resistant ceramic (zirconium oxide). Unique features, such as the patented micro-regulation system and the Case Suspension System, ensure exceptional comfort when worn on the wrist.
The updated Leggera collection comes with a series of dials with diverse finishes, manufactured in-house. You can also choose an extremely thin forged carbon dial, where each piece is unique due to the individual pattern created during its machining.
The Arctic White and Mamba Green dials feature the typical Essence horizontal lines, which are precisely CNC-machined into the dial base one by one. Electric Blue captivates with a striking sunray effect, while Cool Grey offers a glossy "cement" look.
COSC Chronometer Certified Performance
When it comes to timekeeping accuracy, the gold standard is COSC Chronometer certification. The Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC) is the official Swiss chronometer testing institute, which, as an independent body, certifies the accuracy and reliability of Swiss Made watches. The "Chronometer" designation can only be obtained for movements of the highest quality that successfully pass a rigorous 15-day series of tests. This means that the caliber in question achieves the highest standards of mechanical reliability and accuracy.
Formex watches are powered by COSC Chronometer certified movements, ensuring the highest level of precision and performance in Swiss watchmaking. Only approximately 6% of all watches produced in Switzerland receive this prestigious designation, making them among the most accurate and reliable mechanical timepieces in the world.
